INDUSTRIAL & MANUFACTURING

The manufacturing sector offers a vast array of applications that can be addressed by GEMTEK® products.

Without sacrificing performance, SAFE CARE® industrial cleaners and solvents replace traditional products that create greater liabilities due to their negative effects on waste discharge.

Old-school, traditional chemistries resulting in costly clean-up measures and penalties; additional liability results from human and environmental impact from toxic and caustic chemistries.

Major challenges in the industrial sector include precision cleaning of high quality mil specs; surface maintenance of metal processing and the machining of metals, plastics, coatings and other synthetic materials; the maintenance of dies, presses, cutting, bending and forming tools, casting molds, lathes, polishing equipment and their cooling and heat exchanger systems, exhaust waste treatment and spill recovery systems; filtration and re-circulating systems and other CIP maintenance activities.

INSTRUCTIONS: Rinse surface to remove loose particulate soil before cleaning. The product should be diluted with water depending on the specific application. Less product may be necessary with increased temperature, dwell time or agitation.

Rinse with water to remove soil and residual product. Water-break or sheeting action should be observed on smooth hard surfaces.

          Suggested Dilutions:

Difficult Cleaning 50% – 20%

Average Cleaning 20% – 5%

Light Cleaning 5% – .5%

A bath of SC-OmniBrite Acid was used to clean copper fin coils.  The coils were allowed to dwell overnight and then rinsed with water in the morning; no agitation was used. Dwell time will vary depending on the soil.

SC-1000 Aqueous Cleaner Concentrate is used for parts washing for all ferrous metals, however, SC-Aircraft & Metal Cleaner is specially formulated for non-ferrous metal such as aluminum.
