MILITARY / GOVERNMENT  INSTALLATIONS

Government facilities and installations use vast amounts of traditional chemistries that do not comply with Executive Order 13101 and 13134, which mandate the use of biobased products.

The recent USDA Farm Bill Section 9002 legislation, OSHA and the DOE are all moving quickly to implement strict use of renewable resource, plant-based, non-toxic and readily biodegradable products.

Applications that may be addressed are similar to those outlined in the industrial, transportation and petroleum sectors.

SAFE CARE® products work extremely well in janitorial application and do not present a threat to users or the environment and enhance the lifecycle of the surfaces they clean.

Applications range from aircraft cleaning to onboard ship maintenance as well as government building maintenance to forestry and national park maintenance.

Product Applications

Complying with federal and state regulations is no longer an issue when using SAFE CARE® products in aviation, vessel, or fleet maintenance.

Converting from traditional detergents that create waste water problems can be easily solved by switching to SAFE CARE® cleaners and solvents that are readily biodegradable and made from renewable, plant-based ingredients.

SAFE CARE® cleaners are based upon non-ionic surfactants that utilize micelle cleaning technology that effectively lift soil from the surface without damaging the finish.

Petroleum hydrocarbons including fuel, soot, hydraulic fluids, grease and oil can be easily removed with a SAFE CARE® solution. Whether your operating procedure is a mop/bucket, pressure washer or a drive thru wash system, SAFE CARE® cleaners will improve operating and life-cycle maintenance cost.

EXTERIOR WASHING:

Every branch of the military utilizes wash systems for their fleet maintenance which typically include a recycling system. With nano—technology, SAFE CARE® cleaners improve the recycling system – the water and cleaning solution can be reused while the petroleum hydrocarbon soil is separated and removed, thus reducing disposal cost and improving water-saving systems.

Aircraft cleaning for the military is not just about appearances,it’s about performance and safety. SC-Aircraft & Metal Cleaner Concentrate has been extensively tested to meet several military specifications including MIL Specs, Boeing and Airbus.

Anti-oxidant by nature, SAFE CARE® products do not contain petroleum fractions, caustics, phosphates, metasillicates, silicones, ammoniates, phenolics or any known harmful material that might embrittle or degrade elastomeric materials including gaskets’ seals’ tubing and hoses’ SC-Aircraft & Metal Cleaner

Use SC-Aircraft & Metal Cleaner for wet wash removal of fuel, carbon soot, formulated for nonferrous metal and non-corrosive, hydraulic fluid, brake fluid, tire soot, galley & toilet waste, ambient environ- non-flammable and non-hazardous. mental aerosols, insects and bird waste.

Exterior maintenance is made more difficult when removing asphaltene-like soil from areas such as wheel-wells, fuel exhaust, and landing gear.

SAFE CARE® safety solvents can remove most organic and inorganic soils without damaging the surface finish. Built-up hydrocarbon soil on the wheel-well was spray applied, agitated with a nylon brush and wiped clean with SC-Aircraft Exterior Wash HD.

WEAPON CLEANING

Whether it is a M-14, AK—47 or a pistol, use a 10% solution of SC-1000® Aqueous Cleaner Concentrate is needed to remove dirt, firing residue and lubricant.
